missing home

I remember how mum used to say "Laine, clean up your room!" Not that my room is extremely untidy..its just a lil' messy and my mum, u can say she's quite a perfectionnist. Well i've got a little annoyed at times bout these comments. seriously, who wont?? But lately after 7 months away from home, i started to miss all these naggings. not that i dont miss them after getting here, but suddenly lately all these thoughts came to my mind. how i wish i could hear her nag once a while; or also taste home-cooked food (GOSH! how i missed all those)

Recently, my economics lecturer talked about implicit cost which means the opportunity cost that was forgone. in order for me to understand this theory better, i used this as an example:
going to INTI-UC to study..the implicit cost would be home-cooked food, weekends together with family and PENANG food (char koay teow,laksa,..well u get what i mean)!!.. no matter what im gonna have a food marathon when i got back home...LOL

i dunno why but i seemed like getting from missing home to missing Penang food instead. GOsH!!..but anyhow...I MISS HOME DEARLY!!:(

Sometimes in our life, we think too much about how we started off and regard oursleves as failures(if you started off bad) according to our past experiences, failures and etc.

However, if we are willing to put in effort and make the past a past and not carrying it as a load, we are able to focus ourself on the future and make the best out of it.

PAST? Leave it... FUTURE?? Look forward to it!! =]

Unbelievable Creature

Everyone of us are bound to meet our little crawling "friend" in our homes or even somewhere out there, right?? BUT have you seen THIS?? I saw this pregnant lizard outside the wall of Block G (Ghandi)..it was AMAZING!! And the great thing is...it still can crawl very QUICKLY..although with the "child" in there!!!! Then, my friend (J12) struck me a question...i wonder how they......(you get what i mean) It was never shown on National Geography!!
So it leaves a mystery....

Just walk with God & God builds you up!

"Just walk with God & God builds you up" this was the precise words from Rev. Paul Thangiah conference. I came to find this sentence intresting and life-challenging...at least to me.

Its funny how sometimes we find ourselves trying to depend on our own so much that we often forget that all we need to do is pray and depend on God's power and strength to carry out the things we want to do.

As i said just now...pray. YES...ITS THROUGH PRAYER..whether you like it or not. Rev Paul said that prayer should be taken as a relationship where you can come and communicate with Our Father in heaven. Prayer can really get you to a closer relationship with God. Therefore, when there's a relationship, you are walking th God. And by walking with God, He will build you up. Its just simple right?? But why do we find it hard to do it? We often give excuses because we know that walking right with God comes with responsibility.Its our ATTITUDE that has been robing us away from the presence of God, the devil is working his way in us...DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN!! Well you know what? After attending the conference (1st day)....I'm willing to take up the responsibility for the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Are you ready?

This picture was taken after our MPW presentation on Malaysian Studies. our topic was the Confrontation with Indonesia. but the main thing here is not the presentation...its the "AFTERmath" that is more important. We took many photos until we basically need to be ask to leave the hall due to the next class is starting soon....lol =D Anyway, all of us were so damn nervous the night before. Hong even have the "stomachache" problem the night before and when she woke up. But she really did so much better than the times during our practices. It shows that PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT! it was indeed a fun and nerve-racking for all of us! we tried our best to conquer our fear on stage and i belive we are able to rock the stage the next time!! voohooooo!! ;) -PeaCe OuT-

amaZing maZe

As you can see from the pics, it took about 50 people to built this up in a night!!! It stretch out the whole of the Multi-Purpose Hall and it is made up of NEWSPAPERS!!! Its a maze built for the purpose of our ADVENTURE'S CLUB event. Its been categorised into 3 categories which are: horror, funny and ancient...it had been going from 25th till 29th May. On the 25th, it was the horror maze, and I was one of the helper there (as a ghost)and i can tell you this, even the "ghost" got lost its way out!!!( do bare in mind that the hall will be dark when the whole thing starts ) it was fun scaring people at first but it was even more fun when you are in the "victims" shoe...you will scream your lungs out!!! i know that cause i went in with 3 of my other girlfriends. and i basically scream the most....urm.....i know its embarrassing but just wanna say that it was all worth it!!!! YAY..i do hope that there will be another one next year...even bigger even better!! =) x-peace out-x

She`s like beside me and asking me to write down "SHE`S THE BEST!!" hmm...can you believe it?? haha XD anyway yeah she`s truly a great friend to have...especially when she is so dumb for letting go of a SINGLE,QUALIFIED boyfriend material type of guys just like that!!!!!!!!!! uuuurggghhh!!! TRACYYYY.....how could you???? anyway there still are guys out there waiting for you....so dont let them "slipped" away again k??
